Artist Bio As far back as can be remembered, Candice made art, and appreciated God's gift of creative vision. Since childhood she has been engaged in the pursuit of creative self expression through drawing, painting, music, dance, theatre and film. She is a life long resident of Ohio. |

Coming Collections: Inspirational Note Cards

Exploration into the field of art and the medium of oil painting has been both self taught and structured. Candice paints in the traditional method, alla prima and wet into wet. In the late 60’s, at the Columbus School of Art and Design, Candice attended evening classes studying Figure Drawing, and Fashion Illustration. She began painting exclusively in oil in 1990 and has had the privilege of completing numerous commissions of varied subjects, including floral, landscape, portraits and inspirational paintings.
Always seeking refinement of her creative skills, knowledge and expression, Candice continues studying, painting from life and en plein air. She attends demonstrations, workshops and seminars of such nationally known artists as Robert Warren, Karl-Heinz, “The Faux Master”, Kevin Macpherson and C. Michael Dudash.
Traveling ignites the fires of inspiration! “Whether traveling Ohio or across the U.S., or to exotic Cozumel or to Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, down the Amalfi Coast to Positano, Taormina and Palermo, my spirit is renewed!”. |
